Re-Confirms Its Commitment to Patient Safety

Fairfax, Va., March 7, 2011 – FOAA Anesthesia Services, a leading provider of anesthesia services, joins with the National Patient Safety Foundation in observing Patient Safety Awareness Week, March 6-11, 2011.  Patient Safety Awareness Week is an annual NPSF-led education and awareness campaign for healthcare safety.  Each year, healthcare organizations, like FOAA Anesthesia Services, take part in the event by prominently displaying the NPSF campaign logo and creating awareness in the community.  According to the NPSF, a focus on empowering patients and strengthening patient-provider communications are seen as paramount to reducing error within the health system and reducing readmission rates.
